Karl posted a question on a forum the other day and got a bit excited when people sent answers / and or moaned about related things because they can.
Dawned on me that we are all like cb radio enthusiasts these days.....and then I got reminded of that Robbie Coltrane advert for internet banking years ago...."We are all bank managers now"..mmmm

Hello Catherine. It`s Simon, the eternal irritant from the record booth next to your book stall in Darwen Market. Hope you and Karl are well and the business is booming.
I, myself, am currently writing my second novel, though I doubt anyone will ever demand that you locate a copy for them. The world of literature is even more cut throat than the music biz.
I have read some of the erudite posts on your blog (and Karl`s) and they made me smile a lot.
Anyhow, good luck for the future and pass on my regards to Karl.
As it would not be me if I did not lower the tone before I left, as regards the original post; opinions are, of course, like bottoms: Everyone has one, but you don`t want anyone else`s thrust in your face.
